OBSERVATIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS

*Bi weekly or monthly classroom observations to identify children who may need additional support.

*Bi weekly or monthly meetings with classroom teachers and Administration to provide feedback and make recommendations for next steps.

PARENTING SUPPORT AND SEIT PLACEMENT

If it is determined that a child needs individual support in the classroom, we will work with the family to navigate the journey into early intervention and pair them with one of our expert SEIT providers.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT FOR PRE SCHOOL TEACHERS:

Working with children who need extra support can be challenging for a teacher while they are running  a busy preschool classroom. In this PD, we will share some helpful tips and strategies to modify a classroom so that student with special needs can thrive. We will also talk about what it is like to have a SEIT join a class. We will outline their role in the classroom and talk about how to get the most out of their support.
